We are working to put together a hub of information and resources for our community as we work to recover from the wildfires this year. As we learn of and develop resources we will update this page regularly.


Ash and Debris removal

The state, counties, and local governments will be finalizing their plans for free debris and ash removal starting hopefully in December. The access agreements for this process need to be submitted by Nov. 30th.

FEMA Look out for Disaster fraud, and scams

FEMA has issued a statement regarding fraud and scams that frequently follow disasters. 

EPA along with their contractors is currently working to collect and dispose of Household Hazardous Waste free of charge to property owners who have signed an access agreement. The local, Counties, State, and Federal Government are finalizing the details for Phase Two soon.

The State of Oregon has put together a brief and helpful guide regarding the next steps property owners will need to take to safely recover and rebuild.

Marion County 2020 Wildfire Recovery

Marion County now has a sign-up link to be notified when the “Right of the Entry” form is ready. This form will allow state and federal authorities to enter the property to collect household hazardous waste for free. The is a particularly important first step in the wildfire debris cleanup process. Please encourage everyone who suffered from fire damage to complete this important and necessary step.
